WIRELESS STREET LIGHT CONTROL

ABSTRACT:

        In this project we are controlling the street lights by using IR transmitter and IR receiver. Whenever turn the street light ON/OFF we can use IR remote to switch on/off the light. Here the IR remote can cover maximum range upto 1meter if we want to extend the range of the area of wireless data transmission for advanced versions we can go for the Zigbee as a wireless device for switching the street light on/off from control room itself.

 The application will be written in Embedded C language using the Keil (IDE) and loading of the hex file into the microcontroller can be done by using the Flash magic.

SOFTWARE: Embedded ‘C’

TOOLS: Keil,Flash magic

TARGET DEVICE: 8051Microcontroller

APPLICATIONS: Used on roads to generate energy.

ADVANTAGES: More secure because of fingerprints which are unique for each and every person.
