DEVELOPMENT OF ADVANCED EMBEDDED SYSTEM FOR WIRELESS FUEL INDICATORS IN CARS

ABSTRACT

Generally motors are on and off manually due to which human control was necessary, which is time consuming and not efficient. This result in identify the level of fuel inside the car in order to avoid the break of the car.

The simple implementation here makes this system used to identify at what level fuel is present inside the fuel tank. To identify the fuel level in the tank we can use IR Remote. By pressing the keys we can know the fuel level and the level is displayed on the LCD connected to it.  These levels would be determined by some sensors(electrodes) placed in different places in the fuel.


The system uses a compact circuitry built around 8051 microcontroller Programs are developed in Embedded C. Flash magic is used for loading programs into Microcontroller.
Software: Embedded ‘C’
Tools: Small Device C Compiler & Keil uvision3.
Target Device: 8051 Microcontroller
Applications:  used in fuel tanks in cars.    
Advantages: automated operation, Low Power   consumption.
