THREE 1’S PATTERN  DETECTOR

Aim: The main aim of this project is to detect whether the given pattern having three adjacent 1’s .

DESCRIPTION:
            In this project we are going to implement a circuit in the FPGA, that can detect whether a pattern of at least three adjacent 1’s occur anywhere in an 8-bit input. Pattern detectors are widely used ,for example ,in image processing to detect things, like humans or tanks, in a digitized video image , or to dect specific spoken words in a digitized audio stream.  

REQUIRED Tools:

  • FPGA
  • XILINX ISE

REQUIRED SKILL SET:

  • Knowledge on Digital design.
  • Knowledge on VHDL programming.
