NEW YEAR’S EVE COUNTDOWN DISPLAY
Aim: The main aim of
this project is to design New Year’s Eve countdown display.

DESCRIPTION:
In this project we are going
to implement a circuit in the FPGA, Which can control new year’s Eve countdown
display .The display may have 60 light bulbs going up a tall pole .We will make
one light per second to turn on(With the previous one turning off ), starting
from bulb 59 at the bottom of the pole ,and ending with bulb 0 at the top .Our FPGA
probably doesn’t have 60 output pins that we could use to control each light
,so we are using 6*64 decoder for that purpose.

- FPGA
- XILINX ISE
REQUIRED SKILL SET:
- Knowledge on Digital design.
- Knowledge on VHDL programming.
