OVER LOAD CUTOUTS FOR SUBSTATION

OVER LOAD CUTOUTS FOR SUBSTATION
Aim: The aim of the project is to protect the substation from over loads.
The Project “Overload cutouts for substation” using Microcontroller is a reliable circuit that takes over the task of protecting the substation from over loads very accurately. Now a days, usage of power increased enormously for households. The over usage of power leads to over load on substations and the potientiometer always monitor the variation of voltage in substation and it sends to controller continuously. So,  protecting the substation from overloads a microcontroller based cutout circuit is takes the task for protecting  the substation.

The microcontroller does the above job. When ever  the load  exceeds beyond the capacityof substation.the controller switch off  the complete substation.micro-controller 89S51 continuously monitor the load, load exceeds and it will  switch off  the substation.

The implementation is made simpler by  potientiometer. The system includes potientiometer , microcontroller, LCD display and a 5v power is supplied to run the system.

The system uses a compact circuitry built around 8051 microcontroller Programs are developed in Embedded C. Flash magic is used for loading programs into Microcontroller.
